Solfeggio & general music studies
A useful addition to your music knowledge | 8 - 21 years
Do you really like to make music and would you like to make it your profession? Then this course is definitely recommended. The knowledge and skills you will acquire here are a valuable addition.
Solfeggio is a way to train the musical ear. By ear you learn to recognize and name melodies, intervals (the distance between tones), rhythms, and chords. Part of the course is making musical dictations and singing intervals. In practice this is useful when you hear something that touches you: how did they do that? This course will help you understand. General Music Studies gives you knowledge of the types of intervals, chords, and rhythms, and also a bit of history. You will also learn how to put a composition on paper.
After your application has been completed, the teacher will contact you about the day and time of the course. The group allocation takes place on the basis of equal age and equal level. Sometimes, due to the many applications, we have to work with a waiting list. This course starts after the summer holidays.
