Making and editing music with the computer | 12 - 21 years
Would you like to know how to use your laptop to make electronic music such as Dubstep or House? Have you already made a few tracks and would you like to know how to make them sound even better? Or do you play an instrument and want to know how to record yourself and then make a drum or keyboard part with the computer? In this course you will learn how to make or edit your own music with the computer and how to use it for songwriting. We work with Apple's GarageBand, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and more. You'll also find familiar plugins like Massive or FM8. You'll learn how to program synthesizers and drum computers, and how the most common effect equipment works.
Lessons take place in the Platform C recording studio. It's useful when you have a computer with a music program, but not necessarily.
After your application has been completed, the teacher will contact you about the day and time of the course. The group allocation takes place on the basis of equal age and equal level. Sometimes, due to the many applications, we have to work with a waiting list. This course starts after the summer holidays.
